i’m sure you have some gems… but these are three things that helped me get rid of feeling like my brain is in bubblewrap when i talk to the camera but ultimately (you probs won’t like this) you will be rubbish for a while i sucked for ages but i want you to pay attention to this… when you’re getting stuck on camera, are you saying something you actually believe or care about? i noticed the times when it felt really unnatural were the times where i noticed i was just saying words and not Comment “human” to get my free natural video script guide most hooks are sounding tired now. let’s bin that and try something else. This is the SPARK framework (from @forward.usa) - and it’s gonna make storytelling way easier. Start with the Situation - skip the hook… just open like you’re talking to someone: “____ is easy but everyone’s missing the point” “The brutally honest truth of ____ is…” “I made ____ not because I ____, but because I ____” Introduce the Problem and agitate it. DHeres what I’ve learned from a 180 pivot to yapping 1) You have to post everyday - I know you don’t wanna hear it, but it’s the only way to get over yourself and learn how to coherently communicate you can’t learn it in a classroom 2) I wasted so much money on gear - the whole time I was trying to hide myself behind fancy gear and production and did it all for the wrong reasons (entirely for vanity metrics) I’m all for cinematic content but only if you’re doing it for the art, and you genu

This is the ultimate scriptwriting format for listicle videos. First you start with the hook. Then you go into the lock-in zone…2-3 sentences nobody talks about to make the viewer actually stay. Then, it’s list point 1 and 2 Rehook to recapture attention. List point 3, 4 and optionally 5 and 6. (Optional) Closing CTA with an aligned lead magnet. For each list point, list the thing and then provide 1-2 sentences clearly articulating how that point maps back to the original objective. If This is why your content can’t hold viewer’s attention. It’s because of something called the Hourglass Effect. If there’s one reason why my videos have super high retention, it’s because I found a way to solve for this. Every viewer has about 25 seconds of attention capacity in their brain. Think of it like an hourglass that starts draining the second your video starts. Even if you have the greatest hook of all time, the average viewer is going to leave when that 25 seconds is up. Unless…yThe reason your videos don’t hold attention is because your storyflow is completely broken. Comment LAUNCH to join the waitlist for my 4 week live content growth program. It’ll cover everything I know about storytelling, scriptwriting, hooks, ideas, formats, AI systems, strategy, editing and more. I have 2M+ followers and this is the most important storytelling principle I’ve learned. Think of a story like a series of points held together by a single thread. The further away from the main+1
