Looking up close at the details of Look 24 from CHANEL Fall 2026 Ready-to-Wear, which is a knitted dress embroidered with thousands of round sequins that reflect beautifully to light and are meant to resemble mother of pearl. Always grateful to attend the re-see (still blown away), and I have a lot more in depth videos on the specific looks I took a particular liking to, coming soon.Tonight there were many of these drop-waist skirts, in different variations, from @matthieu_blazy first Fall collection for @chanelofficial. If the silhouette might look familiar, yes there were some drop waist silhouettes from MB’s debut collection, but it was Coco herself who made it popular in the 1920s after the war, when fresh and more comfortable ideas of dressing were starting to emerge. My favourite version MB presented was the second skirt in the video, a drop-waist mini skirt, if you wLook 18 from CHANEL Cruise 2017, which took place in Havana, Cuba. One of my favourite Cruise collections by Karl (especially the bags and minaudières). But this shirt is an olive green cotton canvas shirt with fringe that includes pink ribbons that carries on from the inside, and some incredible twine knotted buttons. That was part of the @kerrytaylorauctions ‘Vintage Fashion, Antique Costume & Textiles’ auction.+3
